HAPPY NEW YEAR or as they say in Japanese, 明けましておめでとうございま.
It was really great having a lot of alumni home for the holidays, and of course sharing the Dojo floor with you all once again. I wish you all safe travels home, for some of you have long distances and drives ahead.
What does the new year bring, well of course resolutions!! At this year's edition of Ni Nen Keiko, 2 years training we finished a traditional kata session wth Mokuto focusing on a reachable goal for 2015. Please remember this proverb - Ichi go Ichi ei, One meeting, One Chance. Dont waste!!
The Dojo recently held a kids grading and I would like to report great success for all. Moving up in belt rank were: (yellow belt) - Owen Stanley, Garrett Stevenson, Dany'l Landry, Rafe Hambly, Jorja Hambly, Lucas Taylor, Alex Dowling, Madison Dickson, Trista MacNiell - Congrats folks.
Finally, Just a reminder that regular classes resume Friday, January 2, 2015!
