The Shodo, "Oku myo zai ren shin" reads in English, "Secrets of practice comes from having a good heart."

This Calligraphy is the Dojo kun at the Shomen of the Meibukan Hombu Dojo. The original Dojo kun from Dai Sensei's first Dojo in Daido was brushed from a good personal friend of Master Miyagi. Master Miyagi gave it to Yagi Meitoku Dai Sensei when he was granted permission to open a Dojo in 1952.
